Two units were assigned to this incident. Six personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1237 hours and cleared at 1304 hours. The incident occurred at 10700 E Marginal Way S, Tukwila in District 008. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is street. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0700956 has been assigned to this incident. E53 dispatched to a spill located on S 107th St. in the westbound lanes of travel with a strong odor in the air. Vehicles are said to be slipping on roadway. The first due station is E53. E53 arrived to find a light sheen of fluid located from Martin Luther King way in the westbound outside lane and terminating west of the S 107th St., East Marginal way S. intersection. E53 determined the hazard to be located in the S 107th St., East Marginal way S. intersection. E53 estimates the length of the spill to be 250 x 4 feet. E53 blocked the effected lane of travel and requested PD to assist with traffic control. E53 put down absorbent carried on apparatus. E53 contacted B51 by nextel to gain assistance in obtaining sufficient absorbent. E51 was added to the incident and brought additional bags of absorbent. E51 assisted E53 in dispersing the absorbent while traffic was controlled by PD. The quantity of absorbent bags used was 14. E53 was unsuccessful in locating the source of the spill or "at fault" party. E51 and E53 returned inservice. The Revised Code of Washington (RCW) requires a prompt response to all requests for public record. Within five business days, the City must: 1. release/disclose the records requested OR make the record available for inspection or copying; 2. Provide an intermit address and link on the agency's website to the specific records requested; or 3. Acknowledge that the request has been received and provide a reasonable estimate when records will be available; or 4. Request clarification and to the greatest extent possible, provide an estimate of the time to respond if the request is not clarified; or 5. Deny the request and provide a statutory reason as to why the request is being denied. For clarification on your request for fires, do you want any and all fires or just structural?
