ENTER THRU BACK LOT B51<09:57:05>, CG L11 E19 A28 E52<10:02:36>, NOT AN EMERGENY, CG ALL 0701070 Incident 19:19:35 Thursday, April 5, 2007 TF1111 - Green, Wilbur D FFI 1 At 0952 hours on Thursday April 5, 2007 we were dispatched to a carbon monoxide detector activation. Seven units were assigned to this incident. Nine personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1000 hours and cleared at 1009 hours. The incident occurred at 3434 S 144 St, Tukwila in District 0863. The local station is 54. The general description of this property is vehicle parking area. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid was received on this incident. Alarm number 0701070 has been assigned to this incident. E52, E53, B51, L54, E19, L11, A28 were dispatched to an alarm sounding in a motor home. Upon arrival E52 discovered a motor home parked in the parking lot with the doors open. The owner of the motor home had been previously running the engine of the unoccuppied and closed vehicle to charge its' batteries. Apparently some carbon monoxide from the engine had entered the vehicle and set off the carbon monoxide detector. E52 measured the CO level in the vehicle and found it to be 13 ppm. E52 advised the owner to have the vehicle serviced to prevent any accidents in the future. E52 returned.
