Narrative Text At 0833 hours on Friday April 6, 2007 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 0839 hours and cleared at 0847 hours. The incident
occurred at 15455 53 Ave S, TUKWILA in District 0965. The local station is 52. The
general description of this property is general retail. The primary task(s) performed at the
scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 0701084 has been assigned to this incident.
Dispatched to a report of a strong odor on the exterior of the business. Upon arrival we
were met by Mr. Chris Foster. He stated that at the time of the call there had been a strong
odor similar to permanent markers outside of the main entrance. He was concerned since
there had been a Meth lab at the hotel next door a couple years ago. Walked around the
business partially and could detect any odors at this time. Could have been a truck passing
by on the freeway or just an odor traveling with the breeze. Advised Chris that if the odor
returned to give us a call again.
