Narrative Text At 1043 hours on Friday April 6, 2007 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Three units were
assigned to this incident. Seven personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1050 hours
and cleared at 1127 hours. The incident occurred at 17200 southcenter Pky, TUKWILA in
District 1065. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is
construction site. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
Alarm number 0701085 has been assigned to this incident. B-51, E-51, E-52 were
dispatched to a natural Gas leak at the construction site about the 17200 block of
Southcenter Pkwy. B-51 was first unit on location as we were responding from drill at
Station 54. upon arrival we were asked to come into the site and lay a pre -cautionary line
and investigate. E-52 was cancelled enroute. What we found after investigating and
speaking to the construction crew is that a 4" line had been damaged while digging with
some machinery.
Upon the arrival of PSE B-51 tied in with PSE and advised them of the situation. We
picked up hose and returned.
