Narrative Text NFIRS NARRATIVE/SUMMARY:
At 1955 hours on Friday April 6, 2007 we were dispatched to an oil or other combustible
liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived
on scene at 2000 hours and cleared at 2006 hours. The incident occurred at 2600 S 116
Way, Seattle in District O/J. The local station is 53. The general description of this
property is residential street, road or residential driveway. The primary task(s) performed
at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
Alarm number 0701093 has been assigned to this incident.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Engine 53 dispatched to 11600 Tukwila International Blvd for reported diesel spill in the
roadway. While en route we were advised that the spill was on S 116 Way from T.I.B. to
24 Av S.
In the area, E53 observed a trail of an unknown liquid on S 116 Way, starting in the 2600

block and going west bound (up the hill) and onto southbound 24 Av S (and disappearing
once the roadway returned to a flat grade). While going up the hill, the trail pulled over in
the vicinity of a Metro Transit bus stop (route 170) and continued up the hill.
Liquid trail on the ground appeared to have a tire track from a dual wheeled vehicle.
E53 requested that Fire Three contact metro transit as it appeared a bus on Route 170 was
leaking fuel (or other liquid) while going up the hill. E53 cleared the scene and returned to
quarters
