Narrative Text At 1606 hours on Wednesday April 25, 2007 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 1610 hours and cleared at 1618 hours. The incident occurred at
12401 E MARGINAL Way S, TUKWILA in District 007. The local station is 53. The
general description of this property is vehicle parking area. The primary task(s) performed
at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
E53 was dispatched to a reported gasoline spill at the above address. Upon arrival, we
found the vehicle had indeed leaked some gasoline, but most had already evaporated. The
leaking had stopped unless the ignition key was turned on. Gasoline then sprayed from the
fuel line near the gas tank. We switched the ignition off. We told the vehicle owner that
the vehicle was safe to tow as long as the ignition switch was not turned on. She stated
that she understood and notified her towing company. E53 returned.
