Narrative Text At 2206 hours on Thursday May 24, 2007 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. Two units were assigned to this incident. Six personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 2211 hours and cleared at 2218 hours. The incident
occurred at 7200 I-405 Fwy N, Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The
general description of this property is highway or divided highway. The primary task(s)
performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat
actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.

Narratives
Alarm number 0701685 has been assigned to this incident.
We arrived in the area to find a strong odor that could have been mistaken for natural gas.
The odor was near the sewage treatment plant and we used a Micromax 4 gas detector and
a 5 gas PID detector. Niether of the detectors received any hits between West Valley and
167.
The following morning, there were four more calls generated inside of buildings along
Interurban. Chief Ewing and I are going to the sewage treatment facility to determine if
there is something unusual going on. I will add an update to this report if anything is
determined.
