Seven units were assigned to this incident. Thirteen personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0709 hours and cleared at 0727 hours. The incident occurred at 14240 INTERURBAN Ave S, Tukwila in District 002. The local station is 52. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid was given on this incident. Alarm number 0701692 has been assigned to this incident. E52 dispatch to 14240 Interurban Ave S for reported natural gas within a building. The first due station is Station 52. Incident Report 2007-0701692 -000 Tukwila Fire Department Narratives nothing visible. E52 investigated and was met by the building engineer. He explained that complaints have been received from employees within the building, most prominent at the entrance and exits. E52 directed all arriving units to standby on Interurban Ave. E52 used the four gas monitor to comprehensively examination of both first and second story of the building. E52 monitor did not indicate any gas in the building. E52 code greened all units except B51. E52 conferred with B51 about the circumstances and if further action need to be taken. B51 told E51 that there has been a number of "gas" related calls. Indication are that Renton Treatment Plan is the source of the smell. Tukwila Fire is sending a representative over to discuss this issue with them. E52 returned in-service.
