Six units were assigned to this incident. Sixteen personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0745 hours and cleared at 0756 hours. The incident occurred at 13925 INTERURBAN Ave S, Tukwila in District 002. The local station is 52. The general description of this property is business office. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0701693 has been assigned to this incident. E52 dispatch to 13925 Interurban Ave S for natural gas within a building. The first due station is Station 52. While en route B51 down graded all units except E52 and E53 to this alarm. This was one of many similar calls within a short time period. E52 arrived to find a 100 x 200 two story wood frame multi business structure with nothing visible nor evacuated. E52 investigated and was met by the RP. He explained that numerous employees within the structure had complained about a gas smell. E52 used the four gas detector to examine within the structure. E52 monitor did not indicate any presents of any gas. E52 experienced the identical smell and intensity a previous responses. E52 code greened all incoming units. The smell experienced by E52 was minor and not prevalent through the building. E52 communicated the circumstances related to the gas type smell to the RP and the numerous responses associated to this gas type smell. E52 told the RP if it increased in intensity to call 911 again. E52 explained that the source of the smell may be Renton Treatment Plan. Tukwila Fire is sending a representative over to discuss the issue with them currently. E52 went in-service.
