Morales, Mark FFI 1 At 0752 hours on Friday May 25, 2007 we were dispatched to a hazmat release investigation with no hazmat. Eight units were assigned to this incident. Seventeen personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0800 hours and cleared at 0818 hours. The incident occurred at 13035 INTERURBAN Ave S, Tukwila in District 001. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is business office. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid was received on this incident. Alarm number 0701694 has been assigned to this incident. E52 added to a dispatch at 13035 Interurban Ave S #131 for reported odor of natural gas on the floor inside the building. E52 added to dispatch from previous call and code greened E24. While en route B51 code greened all responding units expect E52 and E53. E52 was updated by dispatch employees are evacuating building and TRG51 was is responding to this location as well. E52 arrived to fmd a 1000 x 200 two story multi business office complex, evacuated and nothing viable. E52 investigated and was contacted by the RP. She explained that numerous employees have complained of a natural gas odor within the building. E52 investigated throughout the building with the four gas monitor and found no indication of gas within the building by the monitor. E52 did smell the same type of smell and intensity as previous responses within this geographical area. E53 completed a 360 of the building and did not find any notables. TNG51 did notify E52 that a slight odor of gas on side C -Charlie of the build. E52 requested that TNG51 locate and check the gas meters for the building on side C -Charlie. TNG51 found no problems at the building gas meters or other possible sources of the gas smell. E52 conveyed the current situation occurring in this geographical area to the PR and the steps the fire department are taking to find out the source of the smell. E52 released the employees to reoccupy the business. E52 returned in-service.
