Narrative Text At 1704 hours on Thursday June 7, 2007 we were dispatched to a chemical spill/leak. One
unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at
1709 hours and cleared at 1734 hours. The incident occurred at 500 Andover Park W,
Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is
street or road in commercial area. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
E51 was dispatched to a non -injury auto accident with a spill of battery acid. On response
E51 confirmed that this was a non -injury and down graded to a code yellow response. On
arrival E51 found a two car MVA with acid from one of the cars batteries on the
pavement. E51 use the pink acid absorbent pads to absorb what acid was on the ground.
E51 confirmed there was no more leakage and went in service and returned to quarters.
