Narrative Text At 1500 hours on Friday July 27, 2007 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. Oneunit was assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 1504 hours and cleared at 1528 hours. The incident occurred at
3920 S 148 St, Tukwila in District. 011. The local station is 54. The general description of
this property is vehicle parking area. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
L54 was dispatched to a car leaking gasoline. L54 proceeded to this location. On arrival ,
L54 found a vehicle parked with a 2' X 4' spill of gasoline. The gasoline was not traveling
anywhere. L54 placed white absorbent pads under the vehicle and checked to see if the
leak could be controlled. L54 found a small leak -but was un able to stop the minor
dripping.
L54 advise the owner of the vehicle not to drive it and have it towed to a mechanic for
repair.
L54 released the vehicle to the owner and went inservice and returned to quarters.
Alarm number 0702568 has been assigned to this incident.
