Narrative Text At 1718 hours on Friday July 27, 2007 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 1726 hours and cleared at 1742 hours. The incident occurred at
3725 S 144 St, Tukwila in District 011. The local station is 54. The general description of
this property is vehicle parking area. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
L54 was dispatched to a gasoline spill at 3725 S. 144st. L54 proceeded to this location.
On .arrival L54 found the same vehicle that was scene earlier on the day on incident
#07-2568. The vehicle was now parked on a steep drive way and had a minor leak about
2' X 4'. L54 had the vehicle move up to a flat surface and the leak stopped.
L54 could not find the location of where the gasoline had come from but on the flat
surface it had stopped.
L54 spoke with the owner of the vehicle and she stated she had waited for the tow truck
but then decided to drive around for awhile. She stated she then smelled gas and pulled up
into the driveway.
L54 advised her not to drive the vehicle and to have it evaluated by a professional
mechanic before driving again. The driver stated she would call a tow truck company
again.
