Six units were assigned to this incident. Twelve personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1505 hours and cleared at 1537 hours. The incident occurred at 12100 E Marginal Way S, Tukwila in District 007. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is motor vehicle or boat sales, services, repair. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid was received on this incident. Alarm number 0702823 has been assigned to this incident. B 51, A 54, L 54 E 51, E52, and E 47, were dispatched to a natural gas leak in a building. B 51 arrived 1st on location and did a drive around 360. A 54 was second in and was instructed by B 51 to investigate the structure. B 51 next took command and established Metro Command at his apparatus. I was assigned to A 54 along with FF. Schell. We took full PPE precautions and wore our SCBA. Upon entry to the metro bus truck facility we did air monitoring in the east and west bay of the structure and all closed rooms. We also did air monitoring of the mezzanine, the areas surrounding the building, the main gas line meter, and recent construction areas near by. The MicroMax had no change to CO, 02, LEL or H2S. During the investigation E 52 was our standby team in Pull PPE, E 47 stood by the hydrant, E 51 stood by on East Marginal Way along with L 54. No further action was required of the apparatus on location, with exception to A 54. Metro command code greened all other units and disbanded command. A 54 tied in with the area supervisor and informed him that no source was located and to call if another release was smelled. B 51 fmally went and investigated a near by propane tank, to see if a release occurred there. No source was found at that location either. No further action was required of A 54, so we returned in service.
