Narrative Text At 1604 hours on Wednesday January 2, 2008 we were dispatched to a chemical spill/leak.
Two units were assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded. We arrived on scene
at 1604 hours and cleared at 1636 hours. The incident occurred at 12400 51 Ave S,
TUKWILA in District 007. The local station is 53. The general description of this property
is railroad yard. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was

Narrative Text At 1604 hours on Wednesday January 2, 2008 we were dispatched to a chemical spill/leak.

investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
B51 notified E53 of a intermodual trailer at the Burlington Northern Yard that was
reportedly leaking acetone/paint thinner. The leak was less that 175 lbs. of product. We
were asked to investigate.
Upon arrival, we found that the trailer had been placed in their haz mat collection area.
The leak appeared to have stopped, with very little product inside the collection area itself.
A haz mat contractor had been notified to help unload the trailer and clean up the
chemical. E53 and B51 returned.
Alarm number 0800025 has been assigned to this incident.
