Three units were assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0619 hours and cleared at 0649 hours. The incident occurred at 20000 ORILLIA Rd S, SeaTac in District O/J. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is street or road in commercial area. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Automatic aid was given on this incident. Alarm number 0800295 has been assigned to this incident. E51 Sent with SeaTac units to a reported Diesel spill from a 4 car vs Semi truck MVA. The MVA was reported to be non injury. E51 responded and asked for the area to be shut down by Kent & Seatac PD, Also requested a DOT truck for a fuel pump. E51 routed down West Valley to 196 and out to Orillia due to the inclement road conditions. E51 arrived to find a Jack knifed semi against the light standard. E51 investigated and found the passenger side diesel tank pinched between the frame and the pole and the driver side tank leaking diesel onto the ground and into a storm drain. E51 deployed a containment pool under the leaking saddle tank. E51 placed plastic under the grate of the storm drain to prevent further contamination. E51 secured the leak with plug n dike. E51 placed cribbing under the trailer wheels to prevent the trailer from sliding as it was sitting on a sheet of ice. The cargo was determined to be non hazardous.
