Narratives
E51 put out two bags of Amerizorb to absorb a large amount of motor oil that was spilled
during the process of hooking up the semi to the big tow truck. (This Amerizorb use is
included in E52's report.)
E51 blocked the scene so WA DOT could lay down a layer of sand over the spill,
providing additional absorption, and traction for vehicles. DOT informed E51 that a DOT
sweeper was also dispatched, and would be picking up much of the sand and sorbent
material.
E51 returned in service.
