Narrative Text At 1557 hours on Tuesday March 18, 2008 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 1602 hours and cleared at 1652 hours. The incident occurred at
441 Costco Dr, Tukwila in District 1117. The local station is 51. The general description
of this property is service station, gas station. The primary task(s) performed at the scene
by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual'automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 0801078 has been assigned to this incident. E51 was dispatched to a
gasoline spill at the Costco Gas station. On our arrival we found a 1991 Ford Escort
leaking gasoline from a fuel line under the vehicle. Costco employees had place
absorption pillows and a boom around the liquid witch was about 3 feet in diameter on the
ground and had sprayed a solution on the fuel to keep the vapors down.
The owner, Ross Seng, Said the vehicle had been in for service to the fuel pump the week
prior and this was the first fill up. After investigating the vehicle further and found the
leak had stopped, the liquid level had drop beneath the fuel line, but an unsafe condition
would prevent driving the vehicle a tow truck was called.
After the vehicle was cleared and Costco employees had cleaned up the remainder of the
