At 1359 hours on Thursday March 20, 2008 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. Two units were assigned to this incident. Six personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 1406 hours and cleared at 1432 hours. The incident occurred at
6810 S 180 St, Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The general description of
this property is vehicle parking area. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by
responding personnel was hazard removal. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
E52 was dispatched to a truck leaking gas in the parking lot. The owner had filled his 2nd
gas tank up on his truck. Which he had never used. The leak was stopped by Home Depot
staff before fire arrival. E52 used ameri-sorb to cover spill. And returned in service.
Alarm number 0801108 has been assigned to this incident.
