Narrative Text At 1141 hours on Friday March 21, 2008 we were dispatched to a chemical spill/leak. One
unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at
1141 hours and cleared at 1147 hours. The incident occurred at 444 Andover Park E,
Tukwila in District 004. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is
street. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. Other special haz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
Alarm number 0801122 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 was notified by B51 of a spill in front of Station 51 at 444 Andover Pk E. The first
due station is Station 51.

Narratives
E51 arrived to find a spill of liquid at that location. E51 notified dispatch of the incident
and place E51 on location. Then requested PD for traffic control assistance.
E51 investigated and determined the spill to be diesel fuel. The spill extended for
approximately two blocks North of Station 51. E51 was unable to locate the vehicle that
caused the spill. E51 blocked the effected lane with traffic cones. E51 contacted B51 to
received assistance from Tukwila Public Works for a sanding truck to mitigate the spill.
E51 released the scene to Tukwila PD and to remain on location until Tukwila Public
Works arrival. E51 returned in-service.
