Narrative Text At 1255 hours on Tuesday April 15, 2008 we were dispatched to a flammable gas or liquid
condition. Nine units were assigned to this incident. We arrived on scene at 1300 hours
and cleared at 1305 hours. The incident occurred at 1190 SUNSET Blvd NE, Renton in
District O/J. The local station is 52. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by
responding personnel were hazardous materials spill control and confinement. Other
special haz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid was given on this incident.
Alarm number 0801462 has been assigned to this incident.
The Renton Fire Department was dispatched to a fuel spill of approximately 200 gallons.
The spill occurred at 1190 Sunset BL NE. The incident generated a zone three Hazmat
response to help mitigate the situation. The Tukwila Fire Explorers were dispatched to the
scene for support.
Ell arrived on location to find that there wasn't a fuel spill at all. El 1 discovered that
there was a theft of fuel and a miscommunication.
All unit were cancelled in route.
