Narrative Text At 1731 hours on Friday May 2, 2008 we were dispatched to an oil or other combustible
liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived
on scene at 1738 hours and cleared at 1749 hours. The incident occurred at 13445
Interurban Ave S, Tukwila in District 001. The local station is 52. The general description
of this property is parking garage. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by
responding personnel were hazardous materials spill control and confinement. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0801671 has been assigned to this incident.
Engine 52 was dispatched to 133445 Interurban ave s for an oil spill.
Engine 52 arrived on location to fmd a oil leak coming from a red Toyota 4Runner.

Narratives
I made contact with the owner of the vehicle to fmd that the catalytic converter had been
cut out of the exhaust system and stolen. During the theft of the catalytic converter the
transmission lines were also cut. When the vehicle was started approximately one half of a
gallon of transmission fluid sprayed out on the ground. We used approximately 1/4 bag of
Amerisorb to mitigate the spill.
I requested a Tom unit to the scene, but I was advised that the police report would be
taken over the phone and not at the scene. Engine 52 requested a tow truck as a courtesy
for the vehicle owners.
Engine 52 returned in service.
