Narrative Text At 1204 hours on Wednesday May 21, 2008 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1212 hours and cleared at 1241 hours. The incident
occurred at 16650 W Valley Hwy, Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The
general description of this property is highway or divided highway. The primary task(s)
performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic
aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0801908 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 dispatched to spill of possible hazardous materials. On arrival, E51 found 5 gallons
of non HazMat latex paint spilled on two northbound lanes of highway. E51 spotted the
apparatus to protect the scene, tied in with police, then called for a city sand truck to
absorb & mitigate the paint spill. E51 assisted the city crew in spreading the sand.
E51 returned in service.
