Narrative Text E51 dispatched to a flammable liquid spill.
E51 arrived to find a sheen on the parking lot in front of Lowes. The sheen was about 100'
by 15'.
We were met by the manager, Charmi Robinson, who stated that the spill was caused by a
diesel delivery truck that drove through their parking lot. She was unable to provide any
information as to who owned the truck. She called because she had had a few complaints
from customers and she asked if we could clean it up.
The spill did not present a hazard to the public. The surfaces were not slippery and the
fumes were dissipating quickly.
We informed Ms. Robinson that we did not have a way to clean up fuel spread out in this
manner.

We placed a phone call to Stan Anderson from the street depdu tinent and left a message
informing him of the situation. I requested that he call back if he had a method of helping
with the situation. I did not receive a return call from Stan.
E51 returned in service.
