Four units were assigned to this incident. Eight personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1132 hours and cleared at 1201 hours. The incident occurred at 10700 Airport Way S, Tukwila in District 008. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is street. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0804317 has been assigned to this incident. E53 was dispatched to an oil spill in the area of Boeing Access and East Marginal Way South. E53 arrived to the 10700 block of Airport Way South and found a narrow, but long sheen of oil on the road. E53 also found a white Honda Accord on its side and resting on the jersey barrier that separated the North and South bound lanes of Airport Way. E53 did a triage of the scene and found no injuries, but was informed by a witness that this oil sheen originated in the Georgetown area of Seattle and continued all the way south on Airport. Way, but then dissipated on Boeing Access Rd. E53 updated Fire 3 and requested one more fire apparatus and B51. B51 and L54 arrived shortly thereafter and assisted E53 at the scene. E53 had TPD shut down traffic to the affected areas, and also spread Amerizorb on the sheen. After B51 reconed the affected area, he made contact with the on call supervisor and requested that a City of Tukwila sand truck and street sweeper respond to our location. L54 assisted with the spreading of Amerizorb to an area approximately 3' X 500' long area. B51 received a 30 min ETA for the sand truck and TPD stated that they would stay on location and block traffic untill the area was safe for vehicular travel. At no time did TFD or TPD have a reportable party or a responsible person for the spill, so no billable information was documented for the eight bags of Amerizorb that were used. E53 updated TPD and Fire 3 on actions taken and turned the scene over to TPD. E53, L54, and B51 returned in service.
