Edwards, Randall Author Rank CAPT Author Assignment 1 Narrative Text At 0732 hours on Friday November 21, 2008 we were dispatched to a chemical hazard (no spill or leak). Six units were assigned to this incident. Thirteen personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0738 hours and cleared at 0807 hours. The incident occurred at 1071 Andover Park E, Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is warehouse. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. E51, E52 L54 E53 and B51 were dispatched to the smell of natural gas in side the structure at 1071 Andover Park E. on arrival, E51 found the building not evacuated. E51 investigated wile B51 set up command and all other units stood by. E51 found no release of natural gas on examination of the entire building. E51 used the gas detectors and found only a small trace of CO, l OPPM at its greatest level. E51 advise the building manager to have the fork lifts examined by the service provider for possible leaks from there propane tank and had the tanks shut off as precaution. E51 released the building back to the manager and went in service will all other apparatus and returned to quarters.
