Narrative Text At 1401 hours on Friday January 30, 2009 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 1409 hours and cleared at 1417 hours. The incident occurred at
451 Costco Dr, Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The general description of
this property is general retail. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding
personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 0900362 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 dispatched to "one gallon gasoline spill." E51 arrived to fmd approximately one pint
of spilled gasoline, and the spill had stopped. Costco employees had absorbed much of the
spill. On investigation, the rubber fitting from the gas fill line to the gas tank had a tear in
it, and was not repairable by fire personnel.
E51 advised the driver to have the vehicle towed.
E51 returned in service.
