Narrative Text E51 dispatched to a gasoline spill. Reports of 3-4 gallons of gasoline spilled on the
ground at the fuel pump.
E51 arrived to fmd a 2' by 5' spill. There was no active leak and the employees on location
had the spill contained using absorbent pads. A customer had been filling his tank when
the nozzle fell from the car and poured gasoline on the ground until it was turned off by an
employee.
Employees sprayed the spilled fuel with their neutralizer and used absorbent pads to clean
up the residual.
There was no hazard at this location.
E51 returned in service.
