Six units were assigned to this incident. Thirteen personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0711 hours and cleared at 0818 hours. The incident occurred at 310 Strander Blvd, Tukwila in District 004. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is restaurant or cafeteria. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. Automatic aid was received on this incident. Alarm number 0901248 has been assigned to this incident. The building was evacuated. I directed E51 to don their SCBA's and use the Micro Max to recon the structure. I did a 360 of the building and established "Garden Command" at my apparatus. Upon E52's arrival I had them standby a hydrant. Upon A 14's arrrival I had them don their SCBA's and standby at the entrance. L54 and E53 were directed to standby on Strander Blvd. Page: 4 Printed: 04/12/2009 11:06:57 Incident Report 2009-0901248 -000 Tukwila Fire Department Narratives E51 completed their recon of the structure and found it clear. No detection of natural gas with the Micro Max. A14 entered the structure and found that the pilot lights were out on one of the range tops in the kitchen. PSE was notified to respond by Fire Three. A14, E52, E53 and L54 were code greened. E51 and B51 secured the gas shut off to the range top in the kitchen and PSE was cancelled. B51 terminated Garden Command and tumed the scene over to E51 to await the arrival of an appliance technician. B51 returned.
