Wojcik, Peter CAPT 1 At 0821 hours on Monday May 4, 2009 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Four units were assigned to this incident. Ten personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0826 hours and cleared at 0912 hours. The incident occurred at 12243 51 PI S, Tukwila in District 007. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is 1 or 2 family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were hazardous materials leak control and containment. Other special hoz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 0901500 has been assigned to this incident. E53 L54 B51 dispatched to a natural gas leak outside a residence. E53 on location found the homeowner with a shovel digging in the yard. The occupant had been digging in his yardand accidently nicked a natural gas line. E53 clamped the line, slowing down the release. PSE arrived later and was able to completely shut down the line to make permanent repairs. The scene was left to PSE E53 L54 B51 returned.
