On arrival the owner stated that his 1976 pickup truck gas tank started leaking fuel. E51 placed a disposable pool under the gas tank. An attempt to plug the hole by E51 failed. Absorbent material was used on the ground to soak up fuel that had spilled prior to E51 arrival. About a total of 2 gallons spilled onto the ground. 5 gallons leaked into the disposable pool. Chief Grisham delivered a portable siphon pump from the Hazmat unit to remove the remainder of the gas from the fuel tank. That gas was placed into training 51 vehicle.
