One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1950 hours and cleared at 2001 hours. The incident occurred at 14415 Tukwila Intl Blvd, Tukwila in District 013. The local station is 54. The general description of this property is service station, gas station. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. L54 was dispatched to a fuel spill at 14415 Tukwila International Blvd, L54 proceeded. On arrival L54 found the diesel nozzle put into a plastic gas can, on top of the planer container at the end of the pump Island. The employee of the gas station met us and asked if we were there to fix the leaky nozzle. L54 inform the worker that we do not fix gas pumps but were there because of a possible fuel spill. L54 then showed the employee were the service contact numbers were on the pumps. The employee stated that someone had over filled there tank and spilt some fuel on the ground. L54 investigated and found the nozzle not leaking and placed it back on the pump. L54 then used absorbent from the gas station to place on about 1-2 gallons of diesel fuel on the ground. L54 then informed the employee were the emergency shut of for the pump was incase of a long turn large leak L54 also advised the employee to have the pump placed out of service till a service company could take a look to see if the pump was working correctly. L54 then went in service and returned to quarters. Alarm number 1000110 has been assigned to this incident.
