Narrative Text At 1217 hours on Friday January 29, 2010. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three
personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1223 hours and cleared at 1245 hours. The
incident occurred at 16000 Southcenter Pky, Tukwila in District 004. The local station is
51. The general description of this property is highway or divided highway. The primary
task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 1000333 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 dispatched to a 16000 Southcenter Pk for a reported vehicle leaking fuel onto the
engine. The first due station is Station 51.
E51 arrived to find a vehicle blocking in the northbound lane with nothing visible.
E51 investigated to fmd a 4X5 fuel spill on the road with no active leak. The owner of the

vehicle had stopped the fuel leak prior to E51 arrival. E51 used about 1/4 bag of absorbent
to mitigate the fuel spill on the road.
E51 assisted owner in removing vehicle from road. E51 returned in-service.
E51 completed and forwarded the Amerizorb documentation to the fire department
secretary.
