Two units were assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1433 hours and cleared at 1456 hours. The incident occurred at 16000 51 Ave S, TUKWILA in District oo4. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is street. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 1000622 has been assigned to this incident. E-51 was dispatched to a oil spill from a disabled vehicle located in the intersection of 16000 51st Ave S., Tukwila. while enroute we noticed a visible oil slick from the intersection of Southcenter PKY and Klickitat Dr. The oil trail got more pornounced as we got closer to the dispatched location. Upon arrival we found a white 1989 jeep cherokee sitting in the middle of the intersection of dispatched address, with the occupant standing outdide the vehicle. most of the oil had spilled out over the last 12 blocks. the spill at the location was minimal. The road was slick but passable. We called for PD and Public Works. We asked Stan from Public Works to help determine if it would be worth the sand truck to spread over the area. After further discussion it was determined that sand would make it more slick and that using amerisorb would not be affective do to the length and amount spilled. It was determined by Myself, PD, and PW to leave it as was and let nature delute the situation. We turned the scene over to PD and returned inservice.
