Narrative Text At 1746 hours on Wednesday March 3, 2010 we were dispatched to a flammable gas or
liquid condition. One unit was assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded. We
arrived on scene at 1752 hours and cleared at 1830 hours. The incident occurred at 13523
35 Ave S, Tukwila in District 014. The local station is 54. The general description of this
property is street or road in commercial area. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
L54 was dispatched to a flammable liquid spill at 13523 35th Ave S.
On arrival. L54 investigated and found no leak and a 4' by 6' oil stain on the street. There
was no liquid to absorb.
L54 contacted the reporting party and was told that they have neighbors that do street
racing. They had reported it to the police but were told that there was nothing that could
be done unless they are caught in the act. They also stated that they had contact code
enforcement about issues regarding the house that there neighbors live in but the they just
move to a different house on the block.
They decided to call the fire Department because they stated they the individuals had
worked on there cars out in the street and leaked oil about three days prior. L54 informed

the resident that there was no leak at this time and that there was no oil remaining only a
stain. There were several stains up the entire block.
L54 discussed different options to try and help the situation with the home owner.
L54 went inservice and returned to quarters.
Alarm number 1000711 has been assigned to this incident.
