Narrative Text At 0815 hours on Monday March 29, 2010 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. Three units were assigned to this incident. Seven personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 0823 hours and cleared at 0834 hours. The incident
occurred at 15300 I-5 Fwy N, Tukwila in District 004. The local station is 51. The general
description of this property is highway or divided highway. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
Alarm number 1001042 has been assigned to this incident.
E51, E52, and B51 dispatched to fuel spill on southbound I-405 to northbound I-5. The
reported party (RP) was a passerby who reported approximately 5 gallons on roadway.
The RP did not say if he witnessed the fuel spill. Time of call 0815 hrs.
E51 was first on location and confirmed spill to be at 15300 I-5 freeway N. and
approximately 5 gallons to be on roadway. E52 and B51 provided scene safety. E51 and
E52 applied 3 bags of Amerizorb on the spill. It was unknown who spilled the fuel.
Once the Amerizorb was applied all apparatus went back in service.
