One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1546 hours and cleared at 1555 hours. The incident occurred at 16501 Southcenter Pky, TUKWILA in District 004. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is restaurant or cafeteria. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. E51 responded to a reported gasoline leak and spill at the above address. Upon arrival, we found that probably 1/2 to 1 gallon had indeed spilled from this vehicle. Upon closer examination, we could see no holes in the tank. Further, the tank was nearly full. When we asked the driver to restart her car, gasoline began leaking from the top of her fuel tank. We suspected a fuel line rupture. We had her shut off the engine which also stopped the leak. We then directed her to have her vehicle towed by AAA (she was a member) to get the problem repaired.
