Narrative Text At 0307 hours on Friday December 31, 2010 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Three units
were assigned to this incident. Seven personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0313
hours and cleared at 0342 hours. The incident occurred at 455 Andover Park E, Tukwila in
District 005. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is warehouse.
The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was hazard removal.
Other special hoz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 1004734 has been assigned to this incident.

Narratives
Andover park west. The location was changed to 455 Andover Park East. TPD reported a
loud hissing sound on the North side of 455 APE. E51 crew investigated and found a gas
meter on the N side was leaking. E51 shut the gas off at the meter with a quarter turn
valve. PSE was notified and enroute. E51 returned to quarters and attempted to notify the
property manager of the building. E51 officer left many messages as to the gas being shut
off. This was particularly important because the temperature was below freezing and this
would affect domestic and sprinkler pipes.
