One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1913 hours and cleared at 1924 hours. The incident occurred at 13138 Interurban Ave S, Tukwila in District 001. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is service station, gas station. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 1101591 has been assigned to this incident. E53 to respond to a gasoline spill of an unknown amount at the 76 gas station. Employee advised spill was from a truck and not from the gas pumps and that the vehicle is GOA, but the license # is 208-ZWD and it is a yellow box truck. She also advised that a customer activated the emergency shut off. On arrival to find a spill covering the ground in an area about 4' by 5'. The spill is location by gas pump number 7. There is no gas leaking at this time. E53 crew spread 1 bag of Amerizorb over the spill while I spoke with the employee. She said a customer activated the emergency shut off and she was told by her manager, who is offsite, to leave the pumps off until the FD investigated. There is no risk for further leak on the ground so I told her she could reactivate her pumps. The employee did not know any insurance information for the Amerizorb form and the leaking car is GOA, so no information was gathered for the form. I told her to leave the Amerizorb in place to absorb the spill for as long as she could. She said she'd let it rest for about an hour and then clean it up. E53 available.
