One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 2115 hours and cleared at 2122 hours. The incident occurred at 13546 Macadam Rd S, Tukwila in District 001. Page: 2 Printed: 05/12/2011 22:03:46 Incident Report 2011-1101594 -000 Tukwila Fire Department Narratives E53 to respond to a Carbon Monoxide alarm reported by ADT. On arrival, E53 was met by the homeowner who said she was testing her alarm and accidentally activated it. She said she turned it off once it went into alarm. ADT attempted to call back inside but she did not answer the phone. E53 asked to check inside her house with our gas meter. She allowed us in and showed us the alarm which is next to the door to the garage. E53 had no readings on our meter and then checked in the garage. We had no readings in the garage and nobody in the house was symptomatic. Ms Fabre said that 2 nights ago she accidentally left her hybrid car running all night in the garage. She said she was distracted at the time and did not realize the car was on. She did not know if the motor ran or not during the night due to it being a hybrid. She said there is a vent in the garage and they had their windows open that night so she did not know the effects of that. She also said that is why she was checking her CO alarm tonight. There appear to be no problems in the house and E53 had no readings. E53 available.
