Narrative Text At 1657 hours on Sunday July 24, 2011 we were dispatched to a flammable gas or liquid
condition. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived
on scene at 1709 hours and cleared at 1714 hours. The incident occurred at 15138 65 Ave
S, Tukwila in District 003. The local station is 52. The general description of this property
is multifamily dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding
personnel was removal of hazardous materials. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 1102530 has been assigned to this incident.
E-51 did not respond but proceeded to the location.
Upon arrival Mr Matthew Lee met us and advised that he had arrived home from work and
looked out on his deck to see two plactic gas cans bulging. He did not know what to do

about them so called 911. We went to his third floor condo and found that cans on top of a
lot of misc stuff on the deck. They were sitting in the sun and were well bulged. Picked
up the can and found them to be virtually empty. There must have been just enough
contents to make fumes to bulge the containers. Bled off the pressure. Mr Lee states that
he does not want the cans and can we dispose of them. We remove the cans from the
premises and take them back to the station.
