Narrative Text At 2201 hours on Wednesday July 27, 2011 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Two units
were assigned to this incident. Six personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 2204
hours and cleared at 2217 hours. The incident occurred at 14443 59 Ave S, TUKWILA in
District 002. The local station is 52. The general description of this property is 1 or 2
family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. Other special hoz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
Alarm number 1102570 has been assigned to this incident.
E-52 and E-51 were called for an odor of natural gas outside of the building. E-52 arrived
and met with the reporting party who stated that there was a faint odor from his meter and
was blowing into the house.
E-52 checked for leaks with the dept gas meter but it was not functioning, we then sprayed
soap water on the meter and found a slight leak, we advised the home owner to call PSE
and we returned in service.
