Narrative Text At 1542 hours on Saturday October 8, 2011 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. Three units were assigned to this incident. Seven personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1548 hours and cleared at 1556 hours. The incident
occurred at 15600 W Valley Hwy, Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The
general description of this property is highway or divided highway. The primary task(s)
performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic
aid was given or received.
Alarm number 1103569 has been assigned to this incident.
TFD units were dispatched to a flammable/combustible spill on I 405 N/B. Instead, E51
and B51 found a normal condition: asphalt "tack" that had come off roadwork trucks had
adhered to the roadway, causing no hazardous condition. Also, the incident location was
on W. Valley Hy, not I 405.
B51 and E51 returned in service after investigating.
