Narrative Text At 0217 hours on Saturday July 21, 2012 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Six units were
assigned to this incident. Ten personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0226 hours and
cleared at 0302 hours. The incident occurred at 4652 S 160 St, TUKWILA in District 004.
The local station is 54. The general description of this property is 1 or 2 family dwelling.
The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation.
Other special haz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid was received on this incident.
Alarm number 1202604 has been assigned to this incident. L-54 was dispatched with a full
response to the above mentioned address for a NG leak inside the structure. Upon arrival
we found a large residential structure not evacuated. Upon investigation we had a slight
smell of Natural gas in the basement, we found nothing leaking and no reason for the
smell. The meter was not running as though there was a leak. The air monitor did not pick
up anything.
I conducted a face to face with B51 we decided to call PSE at which time the occupants
cancelled PSE. We returned inservice.
