One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0621 hours and cleared at 0724 hours. The incident occurred at 10300 E Marginal Way S, Tukwila in District 008. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is highway or divided highway. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were hazardous materials spill control and confinement. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 1301354 has been assigned to this incident. E53 was dispatched to a non injury MVA with fuel leaking from one vehicle. Page: 2 Printed: 04/18/2013 07:55:34 3 r Incident Report 2013-1301354 -000 Tukwila Fire Department Narratives E53 arrived to fmd TPD on scene and two full size pick up trucks blocking one NB lane and one SB lane. The SB blocking truck was leaking diesel fuel from its tank. There was already a 5 gallon bucket under the leak. E53 put down 4 bags of Amerizorb and one 66 gallon Prowler pool to contain the leak. United Groceries was able to locate 6 more 5 gallon buckets and some boxes of kitty litter to donate the the containment and clean up. E53 stood by while the fuel drained into the 5 gallon buckets (approx) 20 gallons. United Groceries took the full fuel buckets for their use. The two trucks were loaded up on two tow trucks and E53 left the scene with TPD and the tow trucks still on location for fmal clean up. E53 returned in service.
