Wojcik, Peter Author Rank CAPT Author Assignment 1 Narrative Text At 0944 hours on Monday June 3, 2013 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Seven units were assigned to this incident. Seventeen personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 0947 hours and cleared at 1003 hours. The incident occurred at 14911 57 Ave S, Tukwila in District 003. The local station is 52. The general description of this property is 1 or 2 family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was ventilation. Other special hoz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 1301963 has been assigned to this inci&nt. E52 dispatched to a natural gas leak inside a residence. E52 on location found the residence evacuated. E52 investigated and found the resident had operated the stove burner without the pilot light igniting the gas. The resident had turned off the stove prior to E52 arrival . E52 ventilated the structure and checked with a gas meter. E52 checked the stove and found it to be working properly. E52 left the structure to the resident and advised to continue ventilating. E52 returned.
