At 1158 hours on Wednesday April 2, 2014 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Two units
were assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1206
hours and cleared at 1221 hours. The incident occurred at 360 Upland Dr, Tukwila in
District 006. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is business
office. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was
investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 1401289 has been assigned to this incident.
E52 and E54 were dispatched to the smell of natural gas. On arrival, E52 detected a faint
odor of natural gas, but got no readings on the four gas detector. E52 did not identify the
source of the small release of gas. E52 code -greened E54. E52 contacted the person who
called in the odor, and informed him that the gas detector showed no readings, and that
there was no danger from the odor.
E52 returned in service.
