Narrative Text At 1550 hours on Wednesday April 9, 2014 we were dispatched to an oil or other

combustible liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. One person responded. We
arrived on scene at 1552 hours and cleared at 1658 hours. The incident occurred at 1000
Andover Park E, Tukwila in District 005. The local station is 51. The general description
of this property is street or road in commercial area. The primary task(s) performed at the
scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 1401382 has been assigned to this incident.
Upon arrival found a JB Hunt semi -tractor and trailer NB on Andover Pk E in the inside
lane at the stop light at Minkler Blvd. The vehicle is disabled as a fuel leak has started on
the left side of the engine at the fuel block. The vehicle did leak some fuel for at least
three blocks and then maybe two quarts at the light before the driver shut the engine down.
Driver has already called his company dispatch and they have Skyway enroute with a 30
minute ETA. We are parked behind the vehicle with emergency lights on and also close
the SB inside traffic lane down from Minkler to past the truck and our fire engine. Place
amerisorb on the small spill. Assist with traffic control. Standby with the driver until
Skyway arrives. Assist with the two hook up and once the tractor and then the trailer are
removed E-51 is in service- returning.
