Johnson, Aaron FFI 1 At 2034 hours on Wednesday July 23, 2014 we were dispatched to a flammable gas or liquid condition. Two units were assigned to this incident. Four personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 2040 hours and cleared at 2128 hours. The incident occurred at 12100 E MARGINAL Way, TUKWILA in District 010. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is bus station. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel were material detection, monitoring, sampling, and analysis. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 1402815 has been assigned to this incident. E53 responded to Metro bus facility for a reported spill of 1700 gallons of gasoline. Upon arrival was informed that the spill was caused by a fuel delivery truck who filled the oil holding tank for an oil/water separator which caused the gasoline in the oil tank to flow back into the machinery vault for the oil/water separator. The entire incident was contained to the underground tanks and the vault. The oil/water separator was not operating and metro has an environmental contractor who is responding to remove the gasoline from the improperly filled tank and the vault. E53 tied in with the operators of the system to ensure that no hazardous materials were uncontained and migrating to the sewer system. We verified visually that the oil/water separator was not flowing and that the valve for water discharge to the sewer system was closed. The contractor delivering the fuel, which filled the wrong tank was Associated Petroleum Products and the driver's name was Yvette Salinas. The Metro representative and RP was Jeff Stambaugh with a phone # of 206 684-2287. Metro's incident commander for the incident is Lisa McShane. E53 performed atmospheric monitoring and found no displaced Oxygen 02 concentrations were at 21% with 0% of LEL and no readable VOC's. The wind was blowing calmly from the SSW allowing any vapors to quickly dissipate. Readings were relayed to Lisa the IC for Metro and E53 cleared the scene for NRC, an environmental contractor to respond and clean up the scene.
