Narrative Text At 1135 hours on Friday August 1, 2014 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Two units were
assigned to this incident. Six personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 1141 hours and
cleared at 1222 hours. The incident occurred at 13523 35 Ave S, Tukwila in District 014.
The local station is 54. The general description of this property is 1 or 2 family dwelling.
The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation.
Other special hoz mat actions were also taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 1402963 has been assigned to this incident.
L54 arrived to fmd a 1/2" gas line cut by worker on site from using a pick axe to dig a
water line. L54 evacuated the structure and the structures to the North and South. L54 had
E53 pull an 1 3/4" exposure line, search the involved structure, secure the utilities, and do
air monitoring. L54 established command and requested PSE. PSE arrived and secured the
gas line with zero readings. L54 turned the scene over to PSE and all Tukwila units
returned in service.
